NBA superstar LeBron James endorsed Kamala Harris in the US Presidential elections via social media post on Thursday.
James shared a video on Instagram and X, the video opens with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe aka Kill Tony remarks from Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally earlier this week.

In the video, Tony is seen making a racist joke about him and a Black friend carving “watermelons together.” The video further follows Trump’s statement saying, “No, I am not a racist.”
He wrote on his social media handles, “What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”
The video also features other headlines that said Trump spewed “nazi rhetoric” and clips of African Americans being assaulted. James also posted a video that spliced together civil rights protests and abuses from several decades with comments by Trump and footage from the former president’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden. The video made the argument that Trump is racist and ended with the written quote: “Hate takes us back.”
James is no stranger to playing a role in presidential politics, having formed the group More Than a Vote in 2020 in response to the racial turmoil and reckoning following the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.
James endorsed Joe Biden during the 2020 election and Hillary Clinton in 2016.
