Wallabies DIY player ratings vs England

You. Little. RIPPER!

It’s hard to recall a greater Australian victory in recent memory than their never-say-die, come-from-behind 42-37 triumph over England at Twickenham

Looking destined for heartbreak after falling two points behind with a minute to play, the men in gold somehow got off the canvas at the last possible second, with Max Jorgensen sprinting away for the winning try in a moment that will be etched into Wallaby folklore.

There were heroes galore: Jorgensen and Andrew Kellaway’s late tries, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii’s breathtaking debut and Tate McDermott’s stellar stint off the bench chief among them – but what were YOUR favourite bits? That’s where you come in in our DIY player ratings for a magical night.

If you’re new to these parts, or just need a refresher: here’s what we usually go off:

1. Had he not played, the team would have been better off. Negatively affected the performance of the side. May God John Eales have mercy on his soul.
2. Anonymous. Was he even there?
3. Did some things that you expect a player to be able to do, but did a whole bunch of other things that sucked.
4. Was passable in patches, but not up to standard in a match of such importance.
5. Performed his role without anything really noticeable happening.
6. Good.
7. Pretty good, actually.
8. Very good.
9. Excellent.
10. Extraordinary. Calling them man of the match would be an insult.

Simply head to the form below, put in your scores for as many or as few players as you want, click ‘Submit’ and check out the results when they drop on The Roar during the week!
