According to 9News Sydney reporter Danny Weidler, the back-rower suffered a wrist injury against the Kiwis last weekend and will miss the decider on November 10.
Murray started on the edge for Australia in both games of the tournament so far.

At this stage, the severity of Murray’s injury is unclear.
The 26-year-old has been a fixture for the Aussies since making his debut in 2019, featuring in the World Cup victory two years ago.
Hudson Young looms as the likely replacement in the starting side, with Panthers forward Lindsay Smith in line to make his international debut off the bench.
The news comes after head coach Mal Meninga said the side would remain the same for the final, whether it be against Tonga or New Zealand.

“We like to win championships … it’s still up for grabs,” he told 9News Sydney.
“We probably need to go with the same 17, but we will make the decisions over the next week or so. I think there’s still room for improvement in us.
“Combinations and cohesion are really important in making sure that happens.”
