Chandler Parsons Makes A Big Statement About Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant’s situation in the NBA is pretty unique.

No one, not even his biggest detractor, can argue that he’s one of the best players of his generation, one of the greatest pure scorers the game has ever seen, and a surefire Hall of Famer.

He’s a top-10 player at his position by every standard as well.

Even with all that, given the way he’s handled himself, how he’s left some teams, and how his two NBA championships came about, some still want to put asterisks on his résumé.

As much as many fan bases might not want to claim him, Chandler Parsons actually has a strong take on him.

Talking on FanDuel’s “Run It Back,” the former NBA player claimed Durant has been the best player on every team he’s been on in his career, via Legion Hoops.

That’s a strong statement, as Durant has his fair share of superstar teammates, from Russell Westbrook and James Harden to Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and Devin Booker.

He’s also shared the court with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on Team USA.

But there’s an argument to be made that Parsons is right with this somewhat hot take.

Durant’s reign as the best player in the league was short-lived because of injuries, and the narrative around him took a big turn when he joined the Golden State Warriors.

Nevertheless, regardless of how some fans might feel about him, the fact of the matter is that he’s one of the best to ever lace ’em up.
