Infinity Nikki ‘Gameplay Overview’ trailer

Publisher Infold Games and developer Papergames have released a new gameplay overview trailer for cozy open-world adventure game Infinity Nikki, as well as announced that the game has surpassed 30 million pre-registrations worldwide.

Here is a brief overview of the game, via Infold Games:

In Infinity Nikki, players are tasked with collecting Whimstars and acquiring special outfits that give Nikki with unique abilities—from floating and gliding to animal grooming and more. Each new ability allows Nikki to explore deeper, discover hidden paths, and interact with the vibrant open world around her. Alongside her, Momo, her loyal companion, offers a camera feature for players to capture memorable moments throughout their adventure.

These 30 million pre-registered players have a landmark experience on the horizon as Infinity Nikki makes its debut on PC and PlayStation 5, the first game in the Nikki series to bring its charm to traditional platforms. Here, and on iOS and Android, Nikki and her faithful companion Momo will discover and explore a charming, vibrant world through interactive exploration, from platforming challenges and themed dungeons to puzzle-solving in the Domain of Curio to create an adventure that is both expansive and deeply engaging.

Infinity Nikki is due out for PlayStation 5, PC via client download and Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android in 2024. While Infold Games has yet to officially announce a release date, pre-orders for a launch content bundle went live on PlayStation Store this week with a release date of December 4 at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET.
