Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs saw off Manchester City 2-1 through early goals from Timo Werner and Pape Matar Sarr, which has earned them another home tie in the last eight as they now face Man Utd.
Tottenham’s North London neighbours, Arsenal will too be at home after Mikel Arteta’s Gunners drew Crystal Palace, in a tie which will be played at the Emirates Stadium.
Reigning champions, Liverpool will visit Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium in another away tie for Arne Slot’s Reds.
Newcastle’s reward for eliminating Chelsea is another home tie against West London opposition, with Thomas Frank’s Brentford set to visit St James’ Park in the battle for a semi-final spot.
Quarter-Final ties will be provisionally played on Wednesday 18 December due to Brentford, Crystal Palace, Man Utd, Southampton and Tottenham all in league action on Sunday 15 December.
